This webinar is organised in partnership with the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT).
Targeted counter-messaging for terrorist content has been frequently raised by governments, civil society, and former extremists as a useful way to prevent and counter radicalisation online. Tech companies have thus integrated this in their counterterrorism approach, such as by partnering with institutions that develop counter-narratives messaging and implementing counter-narrative messaging on their platforms.
For this Tech Against Terrorism & GIFCT webinar, we take a closer look at counter narratives and counter speech efforts online, with a focus on tactics, best practices, innovations, and evaluation.
As always, this webinar session will finish with a Q&A session that is open to all attendees. If you would like to sign up to this free webinar, please register with your institutionally affiliated email address – note that registration does not guarantee participation, and access to this webinar will be limited. This webinar will be held under Chatham house rules.
