UNGA 2019 Tech Against Terrorism and UN CTED Side Event: Introducing the TCAP

At this event, Tech Against Terrorism will recap some of its 2019 activities and introduce the Terrorist Content Analytics Platform (TCAP)

About this Event:

Tech Against Terrorism and the UN Counter Terrorism Executive Directorate (UN CTED) invites you to our UN General Assembly week side-event. At this event we will discuss our Terrorist Content Analytics Platform (TCAP) and will be seeking to solicit feedback from key stakeholders, including governments, tech companies, academics and counter-terrorism experts, all of whom will benefit from this platform’s capabilities. The TCAP, which is being built with  support from the Government of Canada, is the world’s first centralised platform of verified terrorist content and is aimed at facilitating tech company moderation of terrorist content and improving quantitative analysis of terrorist use of the Internet. At this event, we will offer an in-depth presentation of the TCAP and what it can do for stakeholders, as well as giving a platform to experts from across the counter-terrorism field and the technology industry to discuss their thoughts on terrorist use of the Internet in general and how we can adapt and respond to this threat. We will also recap some of our activities in 2019, including our work with  Jihadology.net, the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism, as well as some of our most  recent research, with a look towards upcoming projects in 2020. The event will take place in Midtown, New York. Exact location will be shared with registered participants one day before the event. Please note that registration does not guarantee admission. We hope to see you in New York.
