UN Counter-Terrorism Committee Discusses Online Counter-Terrorism

  • The UN Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee held a special meeting in Delhi to take firmer and more coordinated action against terrorist exploitation of information communication technologies.
  • Tech Against Terrorism was recognised in the meeting's subsequent Delhi Declaration which also called for ‘strategic and voluntary public-private partnerships’ to fight online terrorism.
  • We attended the meeting and highlighted emerging trends in terrorist use of the internet and our work in tackling this threat. You can read more about the Delhi Declaration here.
