APAC in Focus: Regional Responses to Terrorist and Violent Extremist Activity Online

This webinar is organised in partnership with the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT). · Are you interested in learning about terrorist and violent extremist groups in the Asia-Pacific region and how these threat actors use the internet and online platforms? · Would you like to learn more about how local and global tech platforms respond to this threat? · Are you a tech professional interested in learning more about how your platform can adapt its counterterrorism efforts to the regional threat landscape? For this Tech Against Terrorism & GIFCT webinar, we take a closer look at the terrorist and violent extremist threat landscape in the Asia-Pacific region and how this threat manifests online. Together with an expert panel, we will examine the risks of terrorist use of the internet specific to the region and emerging threats. We will also discuss how global and local tech companies can adapt their counterterrorism response. As always, this webinar session will finish with a Q&A session that is open to all attendees.
