This webinar will examine how online terrorist actors are adapting their tactics to combat counterterrorism and content moderation efforts.

Organised by Tech Against Terrorism and Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT).

This e-Learning Webinar is suitable for:
  • Tech professionals seeking to broaden their knowledge of how different terrorist actors adapt their methods to maintain an online presence.
  • Government or law enforcement officials interested in understanding how the tech sector is responding to the adaptability of terrorist actors online.
  • Researchers or civil society representatives who would like to learn more about the difficulties faced by the tech sector and law enforcement in staying ahead of trends in terrorist exploitation of the internet.

In the next webinar of the 2023 Tech Against Terrorism & GIFCT e-Learning series, we will take an in-depth look into how terrorist and violent extremist actors aim to evade content moderation efforts.

We will discuss how terrorist and violent extremist actors online are adapting their tactics, techniques, and procedures in response to more effective counterterrorism strategies intended to take these actors offline. Together with a panel of experts, we will discuss the strategies used by terrorist and violent extremist actors, as well as the adaptive content moderation strategies being employed by the tech sector, to identify which platforms terrorist actors will aim to exploit next.

This webinar session will finish with a Q&A session which is open to all attendees.

More information about the speakers and the agenda will be shared soon.
