To make the most of these advanced technologies, governments will need to craft sophisticated prompts that may include sensitive information. They may even need to build systems that allow sensitive government information to be shared. But it is crucial they feel secure the information they share is protected. Currently, there is no way to guarantee this. The inability to obscure sensitive information when interacting with these models is a significant limiting factor for governments. This is a concerning issue because the people who are making the most critical decisions in society are unable to fully utilise the most powerful technology available.
