Adam Hadley, is the founder and executive director of Tech Against Terrorism, a non-for-profit organisation which helps companies tackle harmful sites online such as those promoting suicide.
Mr Hadley told MailOnline: 'Websites are easy to set up and replace once they are taken down: nefarious actors exploit loopholes and fragmented internet governance in this area.
'We regularly see this in the continued presence of terrorist-operated websites and sites promoting suicide and child sexual abuse material. At Tech Against Terrorism, we frequently encourage infrastructure providers to take firmer action against harmful actors who are exploiting their services.
'The Online Safety Act contained impressive measures to deal with these issues, and regulators now face a formidable challenge to effectively take such material down whilst respecting freedom of expression.'
