The third instalment in the Tech Against Terrorism Webinar Series presents a new report using Terrorist Content Analytics Platform (TCAP) data.
Mapping Far-Right Terrorist Propaganda Online is a landmark investigation into the complex ecosystem of far-right terrorist content across online platforms and services.
Drawing on a dataset of 3,000 URLs acquired through submissions to the TCAP since 2021, the report examines trends in the distribution and dissemination of far-right terrorist content across tech platforms as well as the online communication practices of the online far-right.
The report also explores existing and emerging trends in propaganda dissemination by far-right TVE actors, and outlines the risks Generative AI poses to enhance the creation, dissemination and circumvention methods employed by these actors.
In this webinar, we will discuss whether and to what extent the tech sector has been able to respond effectively to the presence of far-right propaganda on online platforms. We will explore the state of the threat and how it might evolve, and we will expand on the actionable recommendations provided in the report to discuss how the online safety community can marginalise and disrupt the online violent far right.
